This really was an outstanding stay underlying again why we love visiting The Gallivant and why we are always so happy to return.
The service was exceptional, meals outstanding, and atmosphere calm and efficient as always.
My wife and I very much look forward to our next visit.

We think the Gallivant is an absolutely magical place and cannot think of anything which could be done differently or better.

We think all the staff are amazing but would particularly like to mention Daniel M who is an absolute shining star. The Gallivant is very lucky to have the wonderful Daniel working for them and should do everything possible to retain him!

I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel and was very happy.
All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful on all occasions.
There were two girls in the dining room who were very kind to me and spoke to me whenever they got a chance.
I am not sure of their names but they will probably remember me as I had to return to Rye harbour to retrieve my glasses!
Their kindness was very much appreciated as I was dining alone.
I would love to come for another stay and hopefully will manage next year.

My daughter and I had a wonderful one night stay at The Gallivant. The property is cosy, beautifully designed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay.

We absolutely loved our bedroom complete with a roll top bath and a stunning little private garden. A real gem, just a stones throw from Camber Sands Beach.

We had such a lovely time and we will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay. Everything was lovely and I think our favourite point to note is how lovely all the staff were. Everyone was very friendly and helpful yet also gave us our space which is a tricky balance to get right. We'll definitely be back ☺️ A special mention to Daniel (very welcoming with a lovely big smile) and Jessica (we loved her vibe).

It was our first visit and we absolutely loved everything about The Gallivant. Getting a complimentary room upgrade as it was our silver wedding anniversary made it even more special. Apologies for not getting his name but the lovely guy who checked us in and made our cocktails was particularly charming and kind. The lady who served breakfast this morning was also great. The meal at Harry’s was a treat from start to finish. I hope this visit won’t be our last!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel. The service and staff were all really friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom was lovely with the comfiest bed ever.
We loved playing Scrabble and rummaging through the books in the snug whilst having a lovely cocktail.
We will be back!

I honestly cannot think of anything you can do better. The service from every single member of your staff was exceptional. Food was one of the best I've ever had in my life. Please keep Chocolate Cake and Lemon Vanilla Cheesecake in your menu forever. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with you at the weekend and the food and service was excellent. We had a young waiter from Hastings on both nights, I can’t remember his name, but he is a credit to you, personable, knowledgeable about menu choices and super friendly.

Friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. All the staff was accommodating and flexible.
The food very good both dinner and breakfast.
We loved the interior and decoration and the thoughtful leisure space.
We'd love to visit again!
