I had the most wonderful stay with you last week. I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay by an extra day. Every member of the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. In particular, Georgina, whom I interacted with the most, was a delight. I found the gardens to be perfectly manicured with many opportunities to sit and read. And, the food was exceptional. I had dined every night and was very satisfied. The only glitch was taxi availability. I didn't have a car and getting a taxi was quite tricky. I realize this is out of your control. Said that, I was driven to the train station on the day of my departure by the resident manager of "happiness" which was not only generous but was a testament your excellent customer service. I can't wait to return.

We really loved staying there and will definitely be back again soon. Lindsay and her team were incredible for our short stay.

We booked a last minute stay at The Gallivant and had a wonderful stay. It really exceeded all expectations and is a truly lovely place to get away. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food in the restaurant was amazing. Would highly recommend and hope to return one day.

We had such a lovely stay – it really is a gem. Felt comfortable and stylish, but not in anyway pretentious.

All the staff stood one, especially a newer blonde lady on reception. Such a kind and helpful person!

There was a misunderstanding with the U30 rate on website, but the general manager was so great at dealing with it. She listed to the issue and solved very professionally. You can tell she really cares about the place :).

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at The Gallivant. Our room was beautiful, the service from all team members was outstanding (nothing was too much trouble), and the food and drink were exceptional. We really enjoyed the morning yoga sessions, too. Thank you for having us!

We had the best time at the Gallivant! We had previously visited the restaurant for lunch and enjoyed such good meal we decided to book a Sunday night stay as a short summer break. We were so well looked after by all the staff and wished we had booked for two nights rather than one. The restaurant team looked after us so well. Joe was an outlier in a team of true professionals, his passion for English wine and great hospitality were on display from the outset and we thoroughly enjoyed his personal approach. We were pleased to be welcomed with the English Wine at 5 and subsequently took advantage of the hotel's 'cocktail in the dunes' offer, where we enjoyed margaritas, made by Jonathon, whilst watching the sunset. The Gallivant is a really special place and we hope to visit again very soon!

We had a truly amazing weekend. Everyone is so lovely and has time to talk to the guests. Our room was amazing! The food was incredible! The chefs chatted as they went by and their knowledge and craft resulted in some of the best food we have ever eaten. Ditto the wine! See you all again soon, and thank you for having us stay. We enjoyed our stay with the dog in Room 15. It was our first overnight with the dog and we found The Gallivant especially because you offered dog-friendly accommodation. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, facilities were great and products were high quality and we found the all the staff friendly and helpful from the reception to bar and restaurant members. The price was pricier than we would normally tend to pay but we recognise the value throughout our stay. Thank you.
