It’s all the little touches which make a truly lovely stay. The bedtime herbal tea delivered to your door, water bottles provided with refillable still and sparkling filtered water, picnic bags and blankets for the beach, wine at five, games in the snug and luxurious products in the bathrooms, plus fantastic food. Can’t wait to stay again! Would recommend this to anyone who wants to get away and unwind in a friendly, intimate hotel.

We had such a great time. All the staff were amazing and spoilt our dog rotten – the bag of treats was such a kind gesture. The hotel itself is beautiful and the restaurant serves a fantastic menu. The drinks on the dunes were definitely a highlight of our stay. We loved every second of our time at the Gallivant and will be back!

Our Honeymoon was always going to be special – but The Gallivant iced that cake to perfection! Hamish & Lindsay particularly ensured that we were always tended to – but also left alone to be romantic as well. The food was absolutely exquisite each night – “One of the best meals we’ve had all year”. Final shout out to Drinks on the Dunes – which was a delightful touch.

Overall a 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time staying with you and The Gallivant is such a truly special place. Very cosy and welcoming but also beautiful attention to detail which didn’t go unnoticed…from the drinks bags left in the room and cocktails in the dunes, the available wellies and blankets at reception to the games in the bar area and turn down service with radio left playing in the background – all really beautifully thought through and appreciated.
Thank you also for being so welcoming to our two golden retrievers who had the best time racing around on the beach and getting to know your snack jar at reception! Food was also all delicious and every member of staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. We look forward to coming back! Alyson and Ed (and Sunny and Bean)

Our daughter had a wonderful time. Loved her room, evening meal and breakfast. Said she felt very comfortable, enjoyed the design and layout. Above all the friendliness and service of staff

Our stay was wonderful start to finish, everything was perfect. We booked the Bamford Spa escape and left feeling completely relaxed and spoiled. The spa treatments were great, the food was delicious and the staff was warm and welcoming, we even had yoga on the beach which was lovely, we felt so at home. One of the best hotel stays we’ve had, we will definitely come back!

Omg where do we start…it’s our 1st Anniversary, we’ve spent our whole time doing stuff with the kids so going away is a special time. Also celebrating our anniversary.
We arrived a bit late. Lindsay was immediately on hand. She was welcoming as were ALL the team. First class in every area. The feel of the place, warmth, smiles, welcoming, detail and service were second to none. We loved the food! Congrats to the kitchen! Super all round. Everyone was amazing! Will be back. Clare & Doug
