A Happy Christmas by the sea

WEDNESDAY 23rd to FRIDAY 26th DECEMBER

You are invited to our Christmas House Party by the sea.

We’ve created the perfect festive retreat – imagine crisp December days filled with invigorating walks along our pristine beach followed by cosy evenings of games and conversation beside our roaring log fire.  As twilight falls, craft cocktails await, and intimate dinners in our acclaimed restaurant, Harry’s.

Chef Matthew’s exceptional festive menus celebrate the season, each course thoughtfully paired with fine and rare wines, concluding with moreish digestifs to make every evening truly memorable.

Upon arrival on the 23rd, we’ll welcome you to The Gallivant with freshly baked mince pies, brandy butter and tea in the Sitting Room, before you enjoy an à la carte dinner in Harry’s.

Christmas Eve brings a leisurely Gallivant breakfast, time for long beach walks, and relaxation in our snug. We’ll serve Christmas cake and tea in the afternoon, followed by our special Christmas Eve menu at Harry’s.

For Christmas Day, we’re serving a champagne breakfast to start your celebrations, followed by more champagne and canapés before our three-course Christmas lunch. The afternoon offers Christmas cake, tea, and board games in the Sitting Room. Later, we’ll provide a Christmas supper tray for you to enjoy wherever you wish.

On Boxing Day, join us for a morning yoga class before your final Gallivant breakfast.

We’ve attended to every detail to ensure your Christmas with us will be both relaxing and memorable.

Yes, we're back in the real world and it's not nearly as good as the Gallivant! We had a great 48 hour stay with you – it not only met but it exceeded our expectations. It was our home away from home (minus 2 grown up boys and a dog!) and every member of the team we met were a pleasure.

Sometimes service can be "forced" and "fake" but not here, you have got the balance right. Big thanks to the staff that we met (Nekita, Chloe, Kirin, Georgina, Tim and Hamish) and to those that we met but didn't get their names. A BIG shout out to the chef we met, Taylor – wow, you can cook! We are now back on standard rations – it's all a bit of a comedown.

Keep doing what you do – you have a good thing going on down at the Gallivant!

We loved every second staying at the Gallivant from the moment we pulled up under the beautiful pine trees to stepping inside. It's like an oasis of peace and tranquil and literally a short walk away through the dunes you are on one of the most stunning beaches in the UK. The room was cosy and cute with access to a delicious garden and all the team were exceptionally friendly, thoughtful and approachable, always with a smile as if part of the family. Drinks and food exceptional and such a great sleep. Even the rain storm just made it even more cosy. Didn't want to leave ….

We loved every second staying at the Gallivant from the moment we pulled up under the beautiful pine trees to stepping inside.
