Join movement artist and educator David Kam for a movement practice that expands yoga beyond traditional postures into play and expression.

This 2 hour masterclass is for anyone looking to explore movement as raw human expression, unbounded by the mat — rolling, crawling, inverting, and engaging with space and others in unexpected ways. Flow takes precedence over form.

Participants can expect flowing, playful movement to discover joy, freedom and ‘wild permission’ to move in your own way. No choreography, no pressure — just space to move, feel and flow.

The workshop ends with complimentary refreshments in the snug where you can ask David any questions, and connect with community.

Meet David

David Kam (he/him) is a queer Malaysian movement artist, educator and community organiser exploring embodied practices of joy, freedom and connection. Movement for him is an expression of both party and protest, a medium for us to find home in our bodies and a springboard towards engaging in collective action and trans-generational healing.
David shares movement masterclasses, lectures, workshops and retreats internationally, if not at local studios and universities in London. He is currently prioritising work with underprivileged communities, which includes delivering active bystander training on behalf of Britain’s East and Southeast Asian Network to combat identity-based violence.
