The definitive way to stay, with every added extra included, and a generous allowance to spend at Harry’s over dinner. The only decision to make is what to order.  Includes:

  • £70 per person allowance for dinner in Harry’s (ex drinks)
  • Continental breakfast
  • English Wine at 5pm
  • House Cake at 4pm
  • Members Room side board – snacks and coffee all day
  • Yoga (in the studio / on the beach)
  • VAT

Harry's Stayover

Escape to the Gallivant with dinner at Harry’s, without the extras that push the price up. Leaving you the room to upgrade on the night if something on the menu catches your eye.

Includes:

  • £55 per person allowance for dinner in Harry’s (ex drinks)
  • Continental breakfast
  • House Cake at 4pm
  • VAT

Stayover with Breakfast

Relax by the sea, long walks on the beach. The best night’s sleep you’ll have this year followed by our healthy continental breakfast.

Coming to stay

PAYMENT – We ask for full pre-payment when booking.  For stays 90+ days in advance a deposit of 20% is asked with the balance due 30 days before arrival.

WEEKEND STAYS – There is a minimum 2 night stay on weekends, however do call 01797 331 580 to check if we have a single night available.

CHILDREN – We welcome everyone 12 and over to come and stay and to eat in Harry’s in the evening. At lunch it’s 6 and over.

DOGS – We have a few dog friendly rooms, please call 01797 331 580 to confirm when booking to confirm you are bringing a dog.  We ask it’s only one and no bigger than a Labrador please!

PARKING – We have a car park and it’s free to park right outside for residents.

EVs – We have two car chargers, these need to be reserved in advance to ensure you can plug in.

We think the Gallivant is an absolutely magical place and cannot think of anything which could be done differently or better.

We think all the staff are amazing but would particularly like to mention Daniel M who is an absolute shining star. The Gallivant is very lucky to have the wonderful Daniel working for them and should do everything possible to retain him!

I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel and was very happy.
All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful on all occasions.
There were two girls in the dining room …

I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel and was very happy.
All the staff were polite, friendly and helpful on all occasions.
There were two girls in the dining room who were very kind to me and spoke to me whenever they got a chance.
I am not sure of their names but they will probably remember me as I had to return to Rye harbour to retrieve my glasses!
Their kindness was very much appreciated as I was dining alone.
I would love to come for another stay and hopefully will manage next year.

My daughter and I had a wonderful one night stay at The Gallivant. The property is cosy, beautifully designed, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay.

We absolutely loved our bedroom complete with a roll top bath and a stunning little private garden. A real gem, just a stones throw from Camber Sands Beach.

We had such a lovely time and we will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay. Everything was lovely and I think our favourite point to note is how lovely all the staff were. Everyone was very friendly and helpful yet also gave us our space which is a tricky balance to get right. We'll definitely be back ☺️ A special mention to Daniel (very welcoming with a lovely big smile) and Jessica (we loved her vibe).
